Over the edge

At 3842m the Aiguille du Midi is the gateway to Mont Blanc. The silent whispers of climbers heading out over the edge mixed with the sound of wind and the clanging of equipment created such an oddly calm atmosphere. Nothing out of place and everything under control.

Photographing the starting point of the climbers adventure allowed me to share a largely unseen perspective showing the true scale of nature and how humans can overcome it.
